The East

Brand Development

The background: The East is a small chain of restaurants around North London that wanted to spruce up their image a little more. This meant looking at the communications for guests when they are in their seats.

What we did: As this was a place that already had its brand values well established, our job was to interpret those and to develop them further by following them through in the limited space that we had to do so. Further, we were constrained with how far we could push the look and feel as the nature of the brand was a little conservative.

What we did was make the menu a lot more visual. We added photography where previously there was none. Created little icons for the menu items to make it easier to read, and dressed the surrounding of the table to implant brand colour and logo where possible.
