The background: The guys behind this business already had a very successful venture in the property development arena. Through their success, they managed to find ways to access finance and now wanted to leverage that into a bridging finance company. This was already running for about 6 months before they approached Bland to Brand, and they realised they needed to look at their identity to make a real dent in the marketplace.
What we did: Initially, they felt that they didn’t have any strong feelings about what this brand should be and looked at the service they offered quite transactionally. Once we did the brand values workshops, we realised there were far more depth and personality behind this business. The approach these guys took was very scientific and they really wanted to help people access finance in the right way for them to complete their projects. From this, we created the brand name Pivot, and a tagline ‘finance to enable progress.’
Once we had created the identity and colour palette, we created a brochure which was used for direct mail marketing and some flyers alongside a website.
